 MBR (Membrane Bio-reactor) is a membrane separation technology with biological degradation. The membrane module can take the places of the secondary sedimentation tank, a large number of microorganisms are intercepted, which can increase quantity of micro flora, improve the sewage treatment capacity and efficiency, so that the effluent quality and volume load have been greatly improved, and the water can be used as reclaimed water.

Combining with membrane seperation technology and conventional activated sludge (CAS) process,membrane bioreactor(MBR) is a new and
efficient wastewater treatment technology.By replacing the secondary sedimentation with membrane module in CAS,the MBR could greatly
improve the solid-liquid separation,which would improve both volume loading and effluent quality of system,to meet the requirement of grey
water reuse.
MBR has already become one of the most advanced wastewater treatment technologies in the 21st century.Membrane separation system removes
not only SS(Suspended Solid) but substance difficult to biodegraded such as detergent,by taking advantage of its longer SRT(Sludge
Retention Time).Nutrients such as nitrogen and phosphorus can also be treated.this enables the treated water to be reused as grey water.

1. Advanced Material: The main material of the membrane is PVDF, which has Excellent chemical stability, permeate flux, permeate quality,
and fouling resistance.
2. Better outlet water quality:Pore size of Rosun flat sheet membrane is around 0.1 micron, and with advanced membrane technology increased
the effective orifice area of the membrane surface then lead to excellent permeate flux and permeate quality. The output water can be
reused directly.
3. Higher activated sludge adaption:Compared with the hollow fiber curtain membrane whose activated sludge adaption is only 4000-
6000mg/l,Rosun flat sheet membrane can adapt 8000-15000mg/L activated sludge, which made our flat sheet membrane specially suitable for
industrial waste water, hospital waste water, Landfill leachate,lectroplating waste water, and refractory organic wastewater.
4. Longer service life:Compared with hollow fiber curtain membrane,Rosun flat sheet membrane will not have break, twine and clay lump
problem when use.which made our flat sheet have a longer service life 3-6years compared with 1-3years service life of hollow fiber curtain
5.Less land space:The MBR reactor tank can replace the function of secondary sedimentation tank with aerobic tank,it can save 30% of land
space. With high concentration of microorganisms, it have high volumetric loading, and it has simple technical process and compact
structure, suitable both for ground and half underground design.
6.Easy to Operate and maintenance:The flat sheet membrane can be just replaced each single damaged piece without change the holder when
damage and replacement, replace just need 15 minutes,it realized the complete separation of hydraulic retention time (HRT) and sludge
retention time (SRT), making operation and control more flexible and stable.
7.Economy:The cleaning cycle of flat sheet membrane is more than 3months which is longer than the 1 month cleaning cycle of hollow fiber
curtain membrane’s. And it is no need to back-wash, therefore, it will save manual, chemical and electricity cost. When close to the
membrane service life, the Hollow fiber curtain membrane cannot use any more, but for flat sheet membrane just need to replace 1/3~1/2, the
outlet water quality can still reach the requirement.
