1. What is Quick charge or QC 3.0?
It is a quick charge protocol from Qualcomm, can juice up 80% battery in 35mins for your mobile phone according to data. Usually, mobile devices and charger are use 18W QC3.0 output, which added a 12V/1.5A output can faster 2 times than QC2.0 and 4 times than 5V/2A.
2. What is PD, and what’s the different with QC?
PD is a charging protocol published by USB-IF organization, which can increase the default maximum power of 5V/2A type-c interface to 100W. PD and QC are different protocol by various company. 1.PD is stronger than QC; 2. PD only rely on Type C port, QC can use on both USB port and Type C port.
