Assessment & Inspection of Possible Suppliers:

Our ' experienced professionals assess the Suppliers potential to ensure a portfolio of best in class suppliers is available before final approval. We constantly review and then rank every supplier periodically to ensure a guaranteed best quality materials are provided as per prescribed standards of our' requirements. Furthermore, We provide continuous feedback on their performance and trains them on improving the quality and environment management as per the systems of IATF16949.

 

Preliminary Agreement Review:

We carefully assess and check customer's requirements before proceeding with an acceptance of order so as to be confident that we are capable enough to meet the expected specifications, delivery and other technical and business requisites

 

Formation, Analysis and Control Of Manufacturing Instruction:

We, on receipt of customer's design data and related documentation will proceed with thorough review of all the requirements and transformation of design datum into manufacturing datum via CAM. At the end, a Manufacturing Instructions (MI) comprising of manufacturing datum is devised in accordance to our prescribed manufacturing guidelines and technical standards. MI should be verified on formulation by independent engineers and get properly checked and authenticated by QA Engineers before its issuance. The first article inspection will corroborate the drilling and routing datum ahead of issuance. In a word, we had developed itself in a manner to guarantee that the manufacturing document is absolutely error free and legitimate.

 

Quality Control of Incoming Materials:

We adhere to stringent process of scrutinizing all incoming materials prior to moving them to the stockroom. In addition, we follow prescribed guidelines and working directives to manage all incoming materials. Additionally, we possesses advanced technology inspection equipment and tools to manage materials to ensure that they are utilized by first-in-first out. The enhanced technology will issue a warning when a particular material gets close to its expiration date. According to its policies, we will utilize the materials before expiration or test them before use

 

Process Controls of Fabrication:

We control our complete production process by adoption of various techniques such as Right manufacturing instruction (MI), entire equipment management and maintenance, stringent monitoring of WIP and its inspection along with prescribed working instructions. We strongly believe in satisfying all the customer requirements in semi-products and final products; hence, we use specific inspection equipment including, the AOI inspection system, well-defined WIP inspection instructions, and a control plan

 

Final Control and Examination:

Our team ensures that all PCBs after clearance from relative physical tests are passed through the open and short test along with visual inspection. We possesses multi-faceted testing equipment comprising of AOI Testing, X-ray inspection, and In-Circuit Testing for finished circuit board assembly.

 

Outgoing Inspection and Approval:

We have invested in setting up FQA, a special quality assurance testing function that ensures the products meet the specific customer demands by assessing their requirements via sampling. They must be approved before they are routed to the packaging department. Prior to final shipment, FQA ensures 100% audit of every shipment for the fabrication, component numbering series, customer's part number, quantity, location details and packing list etc

FAQ

1: On turn-key PCBA project, what does JPT  do about part crossing or substitutions?

First of all, we check your Bill of Materials (BOM), and send you BOM with the brand we chose for each component and also we will mark the components in different color to tell youwhich components we chose the substitutions. We will give you advice on how to reduce BOM costs by parts crossing  or substitutions, but all part changes are your own final decision.

2: How do you order components for Turn-Key orders?

We usually order 3‰ or 5 spare parts (depending on size and cost) to accomplish your order without missing parts or shortages due to Production Loss. If we encounter any Issues With BOM Components, such as a large minimum order for a certain part, we will communicate with you to find the best solution.

3: What is the lead time on a turn-key order?

The overall project Lead Time is the sum Parts Procurement lead time and PCB Assembly lead time. However, we try to shorten the time line by streamlining our PCB Assembly Process. For instance, once we receive your Gerber Files for PCB Fabrication and BOM for PCB Assembly, we will start to prepare the stencil for your board and complete the fabrication concurrently with the parts procurement process.

4: Is there a minimum order size for turn-key orders?

No. We have no restrictions on your order size; however, larger orders are more cost effective. We can work with you to find a good solution for your specific needs in cost reduction.

5: What happens to the leftover components on Turn-Key orders?

We can keep your leftover parts in our inventory for your next order if you think these parts will be used again; otherwise, we can ship spare parts with your completed order so you have access to them for troubleshooting and repairs.

6: What do I need to send for a turn-key order?

  • Bill of Materials, complete information in excel format. This document should include manufacturer names, part numbers, Reference Designators, component descriptions, and quantities.
  • Gerber Files
  • Centroid Data (AKA Pick and Place or XY-Coordinate Data)
  • Other requirements or assembly instructions if applicable

What is Centroid data?

Centroid data (AI, Pick-and-place or XY data) - This is the machine file, which should include: X, Y, Side of Board (Top or Bottom), and Reference Designator. It is used by our Automated PCB Assembly machines to determine where each part should be located on the board.

7: Can you handle lead-free builds?

Yes, we have 12  lines for Lead-Free PCB Assembly.

8: Do you X-ray BGAs?

Yes. We also use X-Ray Inspection for any lead-less IC pins and other parts that have leads which cannot be seen with a microscope.

 

9: How do I need to supply my components?

  • Each bag, tray, etc. should be clearly marked with the part number, reference designators that is listed on your bill of materials.
  • Components which are sensitive to moisture or static must be packaged in compliance with their storage requirement.
  • SMT components provided must be sealed tightly or taped firmly. Sending them loose may cause components damage and the production delay.
