1. Is it necessary to make a production tooling?

Most of the time, customized OEM part does need to make a production tooling to produce parts, and since we ONLY do customized OEM parts, the answer is yes, you do need to consider the cost for production tooling. 

2. Why is your production tooling cost higher than others?

All of our joint-venture and sub-contract factories are in Taiwan, and the production tooling will also be made in Taiwan. Our tooling is well-known to be high-quality and durable. The metal molds we make can last for 90 to 100 thousand molding times, and the injection molds we make can last for 300 thousand molding times. Therefore, for the long term, you can actually save many costs on remaking or repairing the molds.

3. How long is the lead-time?

Ans: We will note both sample/tooling & production lead-times on our quotation. Due to the fact that it depends on the complexity of your parts and the quantity you are asking for, we are unable to tell you without doing a thorough evaluation.

4. What is your trade term?

For first cooperation, we use our company's standard terms "FOB Taiwan". If you do need other trade terms, please kindly discuss with us. 

5.What are your terms of payment?

50% down payment of tooling charges is due with the purchase order. The balance of the tooling charge is due upon approval of the first article samples. For production, 100% T/T pay against shipping documents.
