Hot Melt Bitumen Joint Sealant description:
“Ningway” brand sealant is a kind of road sealing material that is used by heating. It is made from matrix asphalt, high polymer, stabilizer, additives and other materials processed by special technology. “Ningway” brand sealant has such properties as excellent adhesion, flexibility under low temperature, stability under high temperature, water resistance, anti-aging quality and embedding resistance.
Hot Melt Bitumen Joint Sealant Features:
1.the high softening point (95℃ above)- not only will not deform under high temperature and at room temperature and low temperature bonding and extensibility also significantly improved.
2.Climate adaptability- General sealant is very sensitive to temperature changes of climate, such as when the temperature dropped 10℃, the performance of sealant will be reduced by 30% or more. For different road and defferent climatic conditions to develop a variety of sealants to meet the temperature range -29℃~50℃, it can meet various road needs.
3.the successful application of the three core technologies-enhanced to improve sealant bond strength, heat resistance, cold resistance, can effectively solve the sealing performan of the road's waterproofness and cracks.
1. Crack-slotting: with special slotting equipment, dig out a notch along the crack with the width-depth ratio of 1:1 or 1:2, according to the conditions of the crack or consulting to relating specialists.
2. Notch treatment: clean the notch cut out with the steel brush and the air compressor, to get rid of the loose particles, debris in and around the notch. Keep the notch dry to ensure the cohesion of the sealant.
3. Sealants perfusion: use a heat-conducting oil heating equipment for perfusion. Perfusion should be done from the bottom to the surface once for a full perfusion.
4. After perfusion, the traffic can be opened only after the sealant has been solidified, or after having spread the curing material over the surface of the cracks.
