The drum yeast dryer is a single drum dryer, which can be used for drying various kinds of slurry materials. It is especially suitable for recovering waste yeast from brewery, and the driers with different models can meet the needs of breweries with annual output of 30,000-100,000 tons. The yeast drum dryer is also suitable for the drying process in the food, chemical, pharmaceutical and other industries.

 

Structure & working principle of yeast drum dryer:

The yeast drum dryer is composed of the dryer drum, the frame, the transmission system, the scraper device, the material limiting device, the scraping device, the leaching device and the steam system. In addition, it is equipped with electric control cabinet and exhaust hood. The yeast drum dryer is a kind of drying machine which is heated by indirect conduction heating and vaporization of water, and is heated by steam. Its dryer drum is a metal hollow cylinder with high surface finish and high surface smoothness. Under the drive of the transmission device, the dryer can rotate around the axis and the speed can be adjusted. The slurry is firstly preheated in the preheating groove, preheated to 50 degrees Celsius, with the feeding pump input leaching trough in the lower part of the dryer drum, with about 60-80mm in, the rotation of the outer surface is stained with dryer slurry coated with a layer of uniform (i.e. film thickness), dryer steam pressure is 0.15-0.3Mpa, the slurry is heated in the cylinder wall, water vaporized by the draught fan discharge. The drying cylinder is rotated for one week, the material is dried and the material in the outer wall of the oven is finished by the scraper, and the material is collected at the outlet.
