Sustainability has become a buzzword used by many companies in their marketing and communication. it's about assuming responsibility and giving respect – but this is not just something we say. It's something we do. We therefore decided to endorse the Global Compact – the UN guidelines for working for a higher degree of sustainability. The Global Compact consists of principles on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.
We strive consistently to help make our world more sustainable by improving our own endeavours to meet environmental, social and financial challenges in the hope that our descendants will inherit a better world. To do this, we respect laws, regulations and certificates. However, we wish to take CSR to a higher level and are willing to find new ways of making production more sustainable – by focusing on recycling materials, cleaner manufacturing processes and alternative sources of energy.
