Helicobacter Pylori Detector HUBT-20 is designed for a simple and accurate 14C-Urea Breath Test for the in vitro diagnosis of Helicobacter pylori infection.
This device can be used by medical units to detect Helicobacter pylori infection in human stomach.
After the patient takes urea labeled with 14C, if he/she has Helicobacter pylori in his/her stomach, the urease generated by Helicobacter pylori will dissolve urea into 14CO2 and ammonia. The infection of Helicobacter pylori can be diagnosed by using Helicobacter Pylori Detector HUBT-20 to measure the volume of 14C in exhaled breath.
HUBT-20 uses an ionization counter to measure 14C in exhaled breath and requires no scintillation solution or special darkroom. Its compactness maximizes convenience both in operation and maintenance.
