The S6700 provides 10GE optical interfaces. It supports multiple interface types such as access, trunk, and hybrid.

The S6700 provides Small Form-Factor Pluggable Plus (SFP+) optical modules. The length of optical fibers can be selected according to the transmission distance. The S6700 provides the SFP+ cables to lower the cost of stack and short-distance connection.

The S6700 can be used to construct a tree, star, or ring Ethernet network. For the ring Ethernet, the S6700 supports the Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) and RRPP to prevent loops and provide rapid switchover.

Network-Level QoS Guarantee

The S6700 provides comprehensive QoS mechanisms. It can intelligently identify services and classify traffic according to Layer 2 to Layer 4 information in the Open System Interconnection (OSI) model.
