Max-seal 9000 Structural Silicone Sealant is a single component, neutral cure elastic sealant that has high chemical stability. The product is made for building purpose as structural assembled, specially for glass curtain-wall building glazing and insulating-glass making etc. It can be used at any time under -25 to +50 environment. It can maintain an even viscosity and can be easily squeezed out. The product has the following unique features.
It can produce good adhesion without using any primer and can be used to most materials such as glass, metal, granite and japanning metal, including most of fluorocarbon paint. After complete solidification, the sealant film can form a durable and elastic waterproof interface.

Max-seal 9000 Structural Silicone Sealant cant be influence by sunray, rain, wind, wind, snow, atmosphere contamination, ultraviolet radiation, ozone, or extremely high or low temperature. Its outstanding weatherproof property makes the sealing unchanged for many years event under tough environment. The operational performance of the joint will never change or prominently because of aging or exposure to air and the sealing can always keep good waterproof and weatherproof ability.
After solidification, it can maintain good elasticity when temperature drops under 40 or rises up to +150 and will never become fragility, cracked or torn.
Max-seal 9000 Structural Silicone Sealant is compatible with most reflecting glass and insulting glass.
Structural Joint Design:
The silicone structural joint design should be done by professional designer under general designing guidelines of construction industry. Designing guidelines for basic silicone structural joint include the followings.
The width for structural sealant cannot be barrower than 6mm.
The depth for structural sealant cannot be lesser than 6mm.
The width for structural sealant must be equal to or bigger than the depth for structural sealant.
Formula for calculating the width of structural sealant.
The joint of structural sealant must be able to be filled by normal operation method.
The joint of structural sealant cannot move during solidification period.
The structural sealant must be exposed to air for better solidification.
Cautions: Special system may need special designing guideline. The best guideline for such system varies with actual design.
