However, if the battery dies while Padlock is in the locked position, you can “jump-start” your padlock with an external battery while your authorized device is within range. This will allow you to unlock it and replace the dead battery.

Q: Is your Padlock waterproof?
A: Our Padlock has an IP66 rating and is built to withstand tough environments and weather conditions. It is water-resistant, but not waterproof. Meaning, it will withstand rain and snow but not submersion in water.

Q: How long does your smart lock stand by?
A:Generally Speaking,our smart lock can stand by for 6 months when the battery is fully charged.

Q: What if the customer cannot unlock your smart lock,what should we do?
A:You should operate as our below steps to check the problem of unlock: Firstly,Confirm whether there is electricity, if there is no electricity, charge for three minutes; Secondly, Try to change the fingerprint, or use the mobile phone Bluetooth to unlock; Thirdly,Moisten your fingers with a wet tissue and try again. Wipe the fingerprint head when it is dry in winter; Fourthly,Pull the lock beam synchronously when the padlock is unloked; Fifthly,While unlocking, gently tap the side of the lock with a small wooden hammer. Finally,If the lock still cannot be opened, it is recommended that the customer return to the factory for repair after damage.
