This is G 1/2 "Magnetically Latching 2 Way 2 Position Solenoid Valve. It is a water flow control valve. It is a magnetically latching valve which means a short pulse of electricity opens the valve and it will remain open without any power until the coil receives another short electric pulse to close. This is a 2/2 valve which means it has 2 ports and 2 flow positions. Put simply, this valve either blocks or opens water flow. It is designed with stainless steel and nylon components and has an aperture of 1/2”. Water control valve are used for many everyday systems including automated faucets, computerized multi-flow systems, and irrigation systems.
