What is rice bran?
Rice bran is a component of raw rice that is obtained when it is removed from the starchy endosperm in the rice milling process.
Rice bran contains over 90% nutrients of brown rice, include Vitamin E that has high antioxidant, y-Oryzanol that prevent absorption of cholesterol, Ferulic acid that improves high blood pressure and brain function. It is used for many product, and one of the typical use is rice bran for pickles.

 

What is salted rice bran?
It is used to pickling vegetables, fish, meat and many other ingredients. By pickling ingredients in salted rice bran, they ferment and nutrients of those ingredients increases by several times more and also plant lactobacillus is produced. Pickling gives long shelf life by reducing moisture from ingredients.
