1.Excellent antioxidant properties:
MPPS fiber has excellent antioxidant properties, in 65% nitric acid, 65 ℃ environment after cooking for 24 hours, 27% hydrogen peroxide solution, 93℃ environmentafter cooking for 24 hours, still has 85% fracture strength retention rate. Air environment (oxygen content 21%) 250 thigh temperature baking for 24 hours, strength retention rate of more than 90%.
2.Excellent high temperature resistance
MPPS has excellent high temperature resistance, with thermal decomposition temperatures 450℃
respectively. MPPS can be used for long periods of time below 230℃, can also be used for a long time at 250℃, and instantaneously use temperatures of up to 260℃.MPPS has excellent dimensional stability in hot water or high temperature air, with boiling water shrinkage of less than 0.2% , and heat shrinkage at 230℃ and250℃ respectively, 0.7% and 1.2% , far less than the interstitity of aramid and other fibers .
3.Excellent chemical resistance
MPPS is insoluble in any known organic solvent, after immersion in commonly used organic solvents such as N,N dimethylmethamphetamine , chloroform, dimethyl methylene and other liquids, the mechanical properties increased,the performance of organic solvents is out standing. In acid and alkali has a better tolerance, in the strong acid solution, its tolerance is slightly better than interstitated aramid, in the strong alkali solution, its tolerance is slightly lower than interstitated aramid, higher than polyamide fiber.
