Kafuter K-0680 Retaining Compound Sealant
Low and medium viscosity, high intensity,high-temp and fast cure anaerobic retaining compound adhesive. the property of K-0648 is equivalent with the Loctite®680
K-0680 cures when confined in the absence of air between close fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration.

Max Gap Filling:
(1)K-0680 is designed for bonding of cylindrical slip fitting parts.
(2) It can replace press fittings to prevent metal corrosion and rusting. Using in less than 0.25 mm radical clearance in clearance or transition fittings, Especially suitable for slightly-abrasive shafts fittings, like retaining the belts, pulleys, gears, motors, and other cylindrical parts which required to be polished.
1.For Slip Fitted assemblies: apply adhesive around the leading edge of the pin and the inside of the collar and use a totating motion during assembly to ensure good coverage.
2.For Press Fitted Assemblies: apply adhesive thoroughly to both bond surfaces and assemble at high press on rates.
3.For Shrink Fitted Assemblies: the adhesive should be coated onto the spin, the collar should then be heated to create sufficent clearance for free assembly.
4. Parts should not be disturbed until sufficent handling strength is achieved
store product in the unopened container in a dry location.
