'Yangban Rice' is one of the most famous brand of rices in South Korea, well known as another name of 'English Queen's rice' since it has served as one of Korean grand traditional dishes for 73rd birthday party at her visit to Andong city, world cultural heritage city by UNESCO.

 

It has grown in Poongsan rice field of Andong city located in the upstream of the Nakdong River with fertile soil and abundance of sunlight.
